All FERMAX and EGI equipment is covered by STANDBY SECURITY with our 12 month WARRANTY.
STANDBY SECURITY is now implementing new Warranty Repair/Replacement procedures as follows:

Sometimes what is thought to be an equipment fault is due to incorrect installation, or simple fault finding tests can be suggested by our Technical Support to quickly find the problem and get the system working correctly.
If however, you have a part that is covered by our STANDBY SECURITY WARRANTY and which you believe to be faulty,
Procedures are as follows:
- Our STANDBY SECURITY WARRANTY is a ‘back to base warranty’ which means we request that you send the equipment of our Victorian office.
- When sending the equipment, we request that you enclose a copy of the invoice, as proof of purchase. Also a brief description of the fault and any tests carried out ill help us when bench testing the equipment. This also helps us to process the claim quicker.
- The equipment can then be tested in our office
- If the equipment is then found to have a fault that is covered by our STANDBY SECURITY WARRANTY, we then at our discretion, choose to either send the equipment to Sydney for repair of replace the equipment.
IMPORTANT
- STANDBY SECURITY will not be responsible for water-damaged equipment due to incorrect use
- STANDBY SECURITY will not be responsible for equipment faults arising from incorrect usage.
